Director of Policy and Research, City of Boston Mayor's Equity and Inclusion Cabinet

Ân H. Lê is the Director of Policy and Research for the City of Boston Mayor’s Equity and Inclusion Cabinet. In this role, he tracks, analyzes, and makes recommendations on local, state, and federal public policies and legislation that affect Boston’s diverse immigrant communities. He works with other departments within the City of Boston to ensure equitable access for immigrants in their programs and policies.

He has taught at the School of Social Work and the Continuing Education program at Boston College. Previously, Ân worked with children needing mental health support and with families experiencing financial crises and food insecurity. Ân holds Juris Doctor and Master of Social Work degrees from Boston College, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Social Ecology from the University of California, Irvine. He is a child of Vietnamese refugees and a native speaker of Vietnamese.
