Healthy Malden and Everett

ICH is the evaluator for the SAMHSA-funded Healthy Malden and Everett (Healthy ME) initiative, which is implemented by the Institute for Health and Recovery (IHR) in partnership with Cambridge Health Alliance. Healthy ME is a prevention initiative focused on young people ages 13-24 in Malden and Everett who are at high risk for substance use, HIV, and viral hepatitis. ICH administers a survey to youth and young adults at three time points, manages all evaluation data, and plays a key role in reporting of aggregate and individual-level data.  ICH also has conducted interviews and focus groups with community stakeholders to gather information to help Healthy ME staff prioritize and plan activities.  Our work enables IHR to meet funding requirements and to communicate the initiative’s impact to community members.
