Lawrence Mayor’s Health Task Force Evaluation

Between September 2016 and March 2018, ICH worked with the Mayor’s Health Task Force (MHTF) in the City of Lawrence to lead a comprehensive assessment and strategic planning process. Following completion of the strategic plan, the MHTF engaged ICH to collect data on community needs and evaluate their initiatives (focused on Behavioral Health; Adolescent Health and Leadership; Healthy Active Living; and Housing and Homelessness). As part of the work, ICH is developing the Lawrence MHTF Data Dashboard, which compiles and displays secondary community health and social determinants data for the city of Lawrence and its surrounding communities. In addition to this dashboard, ICH is working with the MHTF to evaluate their coalition meetings, community trainings, programs, and policy change initiatives. With the data that will be collected and compiled through the dashboard and the evaluation, the MHTF will be able to better demonstrate their initiatives’ impacts and increase the community’s understanding of its health needs.
