Launch of the Leah Zallman Center for Immigrant Health Research!

by |

Last Wednesday, friends, family, and colleagues of the late Dr. Leah Zallman gathered to celebrate the launch of the new Leah Zallman Center for Immigrant Health with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The event kicked off with several moving speeches from family members, Institute for Community Health (ICH) and Cambridge Health Alliance colleagues, mentors, and several Leah Zallman Center advisory council members. A representative from Senator Markey’s office and Malden City Councillor at Large Karen Colon Hayes also spoke about the importance of this Center’s work for Malden, where ICH is located.

The Leah Zallman Center for Immigrant Health conducts research to advance health justice, economic justice, and immigrant justice. The Center is holding a virtual launch on Tuesday, February 15th, at 12:00 pm. All are welcome!
