Meriam Zegeye, BA '24
Meriam Zegeye is a senior at Georgetown University, majoring in Global Health and minoring in Psychology. She has worked with Georgetown’s Center for Social Justice in the Summer Immigrant Rights and Advocacy Program and with the YMCA in its initiative in partnership with DC Health to promote increased consumption of fresh produce among vulnerable communities. She was born and raised in Ethiopia and moved to the United States at the age of 14.
