Lisaury Diaz, BA ’23

Lisaury Diaz (she/her/hers) is a senior at Rhode Island College (RIC), double majoring in anthropology and gender and women’s studies and minoring in Latin American studies. Lisaury is involved in diversity and inclusion advocacy at RIC’s Unity Center and works as an Opinions section editor and writer for The Anchor Newspaper, RIC’s independent student newspaper. She was born and raised in the Dominican Republic and moved to the United States four years ago. In her free time, Lisaury loves to write poetry, do yoga, and read.

At the Leah Zallman Center, Lisaury is involved in supporting research, evaluation, and community engagement projects as well as providing administrative support to projects at the Center.
