Abhirupa Dasgupta, MPH '23
Abhirupa Dasgupta (she/her/hers) is a research fellow at The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice and the Leah Zallman Center for Immigrant Health Research. Abhirupa is currently involved in the Leah Zallman Center’s current policy and research dissemination projects and future research projects focused on health outcomes in diverse immigrant communities. As part of her fellowship at the Dartmouth Institute, Abhirupa is also engaged in qualitative housing equity research with Dr. Terri Lewinson’s Resident Equity and Community Health (REACH) Lab.
Abhirupa received her bachelors’ degrees in Neuroscience and Biochemistry from the University of Texas at Austin and her MPH from The Dartmouth Institute. Her interest in qualitative research is rooted in her previous journalism experiences at UT Austin’s student newspaper, The Daily Texan. Abhirupa was born in India and hopes to be a family medicine practitioner and researcher, focusing on the experiences of aging in immigrant communities like those she grew up in.
