Sasha Mochida (they/she) holds a MS in Health Informatics from Weill Cornell Medical School of Graduate Studies. At LZC, they were involved in managing the data analysis, research, and development of a data codebook on immigrant and refugee health and well-being metrics to better inform refugee and immigrant health care policy and equity.
Sasha received her BA from Macalester College in Neuroscience and Biology with an emphasis on Community and Global Health. Sasha has worked primarily in mental healthcare research for vulnerable populations, focusing on eating disorders and weight management, as part of several research studies at the Minnesota Center for Eating Disorder Research and Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. In their free time, Sasha enjoys chilling with their dog (Tobi!) at the park, reading, and writing.
